Managed Markets (Guardian)
The 'managed markets' feature acts like a Guardian, it can manage multiple markets in the background.
Benefits of Managed Markets
- Tick offset, stop loss and fill-or-kill bets are managed in the background even when the market is no longer selected in a grid or ladder.
- Chart data is logged for managed markets even when the market is no longer selected in a grid, ladder or chart.
Automatically Managed Markets
Whenever you open a market in a grid it will be automatically added to the list of 'Managed' markets and stays managed temporarily whilst there are corresponding grids, ladders, charts or pending managed bets (offset bets). A temporarily managed market will be automatically removed from the list of managed markets when you close all corresponding grids, ladders and charts (unless managed bets still exist).
Permanently Managed Markets
Permanently managed markets are only released once you cancel them in the list of managed markets.
To begin permanently managing a market, right-click the market in the Navigator and then choose 'Manage'. A tick will appear in the 'Manage Permanently' column in the list of managed markets, indicating that the market will never be closed automatically. To end managing a market, go to the list of managed markets and click X to cancel it.
